How the Stator Drying Oven Works
The stator is placed on a trolley or shelf, and hot air circulates through the bore and around the core. Exhaust removes moisture. Drying is followed by a varnish bake at the varnish cure temperature if impregnation has been done.

How long does it take to dry a stator?
Small stators may dry in 2-4 hours. Large, wet stators can need 12 hours or more. Insulation resistance readings show when drying is complete.
Can the oven be used for rotors and armatures too?

What temperature is safe for stator drying?
Drying is usually done at 80-110°C, and varnish baking at 130-160°C, within the insulation class limits.
