A flux baking oven bakes SAW welding flux at high temperature to drive out moisture before welding. It is an inexpensive way to control weld quality, because dry flux prevents porosity and hydrogen cracking in submerged arc welds.
MV International flux baking ovens hold 200 kg on 10 trays, use a 1 HP, 1400 RPM blower and reach up to 400/500°C. On request, separate hoppers can be fitted so that different fluxes are dried and stored at the same time, and an auto cut-off facility is standard.

How the Flux Baking Oven Works
Flux on trays is heated with circulating air to the baking temperature and held for the specified time. The auto cut-off ends heating at the set time, and flux is then held or transferred to the machine hopper.
