A moisture drying oven removes absorbed water from components, raw materials and finished goods by combining controlled heat with constant fresh-air exchange. MV International builds moisture drying ovens with a high-volume re-circulation blower and an adjustable exhaust, so the moist air is pushed out continuously and drying time is kept short.
Moisture affects many processes. It causes porosity in castings, low insulation resistance in motors and transformers, and lumps in powders. It also leads to defects in moulded plastics and coated parts. Our ovens remove this moisture evenly without overheating sensitive parts.
Key Features of Our Moisture Drying Oven
Fresh-air inlet and motorised or manual exhaust damper to expel humid air
Uniform horizontal or vertical air flow with high-velocity blower
Temperature range ambient to 150/250/400°C, PID controlled
SS or aluminium-coated inner chamber that resists corrosion from moisture
Perforated trays or trolleys for maximum air contact with the load
Optional humidity-based exhaust control and digital temperature recorder
Moisture Drying Oven Applications
Drying of electric motor and transformer windings
Removing moisture from plastic granules before moulding
Drying of powders, chemicals and pigments
Dehydrating foundry cores and moulds
Drying washed or phosphated metal parts
Drying electronic assemblies and PCBs
Moisture removal from insulation materials
Drying ceramic and refractory items
How the Moisture Drying Oven Works
Air heated by electric elements is circulated through the chamber by a blower. As it picks up moisture from the load, part of the air is continuously exhausted while fresh air enters through a calibrated inlet. This keeps the humidity inside the oven low, so water keeps evaporating from the parts. The controller holds the set temperature, and a timer ends the cycle once the load is fully dry.

Moisture Drying Oven FAQs
How long does a moisture drying oven take to dry parts?
Drying time depends on the material, its starting moisture level, load thickness and temperature. Most component drying cycles run from 1 to 8 hours. We size the heaters and exhaust so the cycle meets your production rate.
Why is exhaust important in a moisture drying oven?
Water vapour must leave the chamber. Without controlled exhaust, the air inside becomes saturated and drying slows down. Our ovens use a fresh-air inlet and exhaust damper to keep humidity low.
Can the oven dry heat-sensitive materials?
Yes. The PID controller can hold low temperatures such as 50-80°C accurately, and air velocity can be adjusted for light or delicate materials.
How much does a Moisture Drying Oven cost?
A moisture drying oven is built to order, so the cost depends on the working size, temperature range, heating method and options such as PLC control or a temperature recorder. Send us your requirement on the enquiry page or call +91-9718290000 for a quick, no-obligation quotation.
Do you export the Moisture Drying Oven outside India?
Yes. MV International is an experienced moisture drying oven exporter. We ship to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Africa, South-East Asia, Europe and the Americas, with voltage and frequency matched to your country and seaworthy export packing.
