An electrode baking oven re-dries (bakes) welding electrodes at the high temperature specified by the electrode manufacturer to remove absorbed moisture. Baking is essential for low-hydrogen electrodes before code welding, and for any electrode that has been exposed to humid air.
MV International electrode baking ovens are sturdy, corrosion-resistant and simple to operate. Air circulation fans distribute heat evenly across the trays. The standard capacity is 300 kg on 20 trays, with temperatures up to 300/400/500°C.

How the Electrode Baking Oven Works
Electrodes are spread on trays in thin layers and heated to the baking temperature, typically 250-350°C for 1-2 hours for low-hydrogen types. The oven is then cooled to holding temperature or the electrodes are moved to a holding oven.
Electrode Baking Oven Technical Specifications
Application
Remove moisture from welding electrodes before use.
We manufacture the electrode baking oven at our factory in M.I.E. Bahadurgarh, Haryana, using CNC-cut sheet metal, mineral or ceramic wool insulation and reliable control gear. As an experienced electrode baking oven manufacturer, we run every oven at its working temperature (up to 500°C) before dispatch and share the test results with you.

Electrode Baking Oven FAQs
At what temperature are electrodes baked?
Low-hydrogen electrodes are commonly baked at 250-350°C for 1-2 hours. Always follow the electrode manufacturer's instructions.
How many times can electrodes be re-baked?
Manufacturers usually limit re-baking, often to one to three cycles. Check the data sheet.
A electrode baking oven is built to order, so the cost depends on the working size, temperature range, heating method and options such as PLC control or a temperature recorder. Send us your requirement on the enquiry page or call +91-9718290000 for a quick, no-obligation quotation.
Do you export the Electrode Baking Oven outside India?
Yes. MV International is an experienced electrode baking oven exporter. We ship to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Africa, South-East Asia, Europe and the Americas, with voltage and frequency matched to your country and seaworthy export packing.
